Shipping Policy

OnTheGoLinens.com ships throughout the United States and Canada. By placing an order, you agree to the shipping terms outlined below.


Shipping Carriers

We primarily ship using:

  • United Parcel Service (UPS): Ground, 3rd Day Select, 2nd Day Air, Next Day Air
  • FedEx: Ground, Express, and other applicable services
  • USPS (for smaller packages and samples)
  • LTL Freight Carriers (for palletized or oversized shipments)

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to select the shipping carrier and service level that best meets operational needs. The shipping method selected at checkout represents a requested service level, but we may substitute an equivalent or upgraded carrier/service without prior notice.


Processing Time

  • Orders ship Monday through Friday (excluding holidays).
  • Please allow approximately 5 business days for processing prior to shipment.
  • During peak season (March through November), processing times may extend to 10 business days or longer.
  • Custom-manufactured items may require additional production time (see item description).

Delivery Time & Carrier Delays

Estimated delivery dates provided at checkout or by carriers are estimates only and are not guaranteed unless explicitly stated in writing.

Once an order has been transferred to the carrier, we are not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Carrier service disruptions
  • Weather conditions
  • Customs clearance delays
  • Labor shortages or strikes
  • Natural disasters
  • Governmental actions
  • Transportation interruptions
  • Incorrect address information provided by the customer

We shall not be liable for late, delayed, or missed deliveries once the shipment has been accepted by the carrier.


Free Shipping Policy

  • Orders over $50 USD qualify for Free Ground Shipping within the continental United States only.
  • Free shipping excludes Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, U.S. Territories, and Canada.
  • Orders $50 and under are subject to regular shipping rates.

All orders are subject to a $5.99 handling fee.


Canada Shipping

Canadian shipments may be sent via UPS, FedEx, or other designated carriers. All duties, taxes (GST/HST/PST), brokerage fees, and import-related charges are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise specified.

Refused shipments due to unpaid duties or taxes may result in return shipping fees, brokerage penalties, and associated charges deducted from any refund.


Shipping Insurance

  • UPS and FedEx shipments include $100 insurance per package/tracking number.
  • Additional insurance coverage is optional unless required for specific items.
  • If additional insurance is declined, buyer assumes risk beyond included carrier coverage.

Samples

Samples may ship via USPS, UPS, FedEx, or other appropriate carrier at our discretion. Carrier selection for samples is determined solely by On The Go Linens.


Risk of Loss & Title (FOB Terms)

a) Orders Qualifying for Free Shipping

FOB Origin – Freight Allowed

  • Seller pays freight charges.
  • Title and risk of loss transfer to buyer once goods are delivered to the carrier.
  • Buyer owns goods in transit.
  • Buyer must file claims directly with the carrier for loss or damage.

b) Orders Not Qualifying for Free Shipping

FOB Origin – Prepay & Add

  • Seller prepays freight and charges buyer.
  • Title and risk of loss transfer to buyer once goods are delivered to the carrier.
  • Buyer owns goods in transit.
  • Buyer must file claims directly with the carrier.

These terms are consistent with the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) as adopted in applicable U.S. jurisdictions.


Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Packages

  • Claims must be initiated within 5 days of delivery confirmation.
  • We are not responsible for packages marked as delivered by the carrier.
  • Customers are responsible for providing secure delivery locations.

We will reasonably assist in filing claims; however, the buyer is the owner of the goods once transferred to the carrier.


Order Refusals & Address Errors

  • Incorrect addresses provided by the customer may result in reshipment charges.
  • Refused shipments may incur return shipping and restocking fees.
  • Undeliverable packages may be subject to additional carrier handling fees.

California Residents

Nothing in this Shipping Policy limits any rights that cannot be waived under applicable California consumer protection laws. Where required by law, remedies will be provided in accordance with governing statutes.


Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure or delay in performance due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, transportation failures, governmental restrictions, supply chain interruptions, or carrier delays.
